Zach Top
Zach Top (born Zachary Dirk Top on September 26, 1997, in Sunnyside, Washington) is an American singer-songwriter known for reviving traditional country music with strong bluegrass roots and a '90s-inspired sound.
Raised on a farm, he began playing guitar at age five and formed a family bluegrass band called Top String at seven. In his teens, he joined groups like North Country and Modern Tradition—the latter winning a national bluegrass competition and scoring a #1 hit with “Like It Ain’t No Thing.”
In 2021, Zach moved to Nashville and signed with Major Bob Music. His breakthrough came with the release of “Cold Beer & Country Music,” which led to his debut album of the same name released in April 2024. The album received critical acclaim and peaked at #4 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart.
